WHY RAG BECKMAN?

BG wouldn't even give a interview. Now he a millionaire just like Myers. Give a chance to make 1.9 mill a year and I can give BG some of it so guys like GMARTIN, FLIPPER,MARLL a chance to get a life instead of ragging former coachs. I hear from friends who know these guys and their combined income is less than 100,000. Go figure

Well I think your missing a zero BirdMan. My salary alone is higher than that, actually twice that, and I am sure Flipped does pretty well too. We even have the W2 to prove it. But I am sure your not familiar with a W2, your more familiar with WD40.

Beckman came in and did a good job at Toledo. I don't think Illinois is a real good situation, but he got a nice raise and gets to be in in the BIG10. He's taking a chance to move up. Toledo is better now than when he got there. If Clawson had as many injuries as Toledo did this year, he'd have asked to cancel the season.

Beckman left for the $$ Illinois is somewhat of a lateral move. They are 1-1 vs. WMU over the last few years. Inside scoop has it one of Beckman's seniors told him yesterday he would kick his butt given the chance. A nervous TB said a few words and left.

He turned BG down when asked to interview for the position here after Brandon was released, and he interviewed for the job when Meyer left.

Didn't want BG interview because Toledo was on the horizon. Thus, he is at Illinois instead of trying to figure out how to beat Kent in front of 5,000 people.
