UMass comes into league next fall. Wow, it took me a whole 17 seconds to load Google and do a search. It's been 6 hours since you asked the question, but even a slow typer or BirdMan could have Google'd your answer in less than a minute.

I think the better question is ... when will our wonderful conference and our dear conference commisioner make an announcement regarding new divisions? It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the announcement is made after the 2012 season kicks off ...

I like the North/South Divisions someone proposed on here earlier in the year, so sadly it won't happen. For whatever they do I hope they just drop divisions for all the other sports and just use them for football, all the other conferences with football divisions don't use them for the other sports (SEC used to for basketball but they dropped it)

Do you want to be in Club Prick? Certainly by any measure that was an unreasonable response from Martin and he does it quite often. Seems like a grumpy man with a short temper. Seems unreasonable for the climate in here. I don't remember you being a prick but I honestly don't remember a ton of names on this thing so you may have been one. I really thought it was excellent where you said you would help out that ex vet in the other thread. Certainly not a criteria for Club Prick.

Seems like that would help us in basketball.

It appears the conference presidents and AD's vote on any division business...as much as I hate to say it, we're probably headed back to the West. I will call the MAC office to voice disapproval of BG having to move back to the West, at any rate. Let UMass shoulder the burden of being the new conf member. Or move another school to the West....

If any one other than UMass or Temple is shifted West you have to drop divisions for everything else IMO, it would get too confusing having a school in the West just for football and then the East for everything else (sadly it will probably be us since we are close to Toledo and the Michigan schools and the only other possible choice Miami is only close to Ball State)

At any rate it should be interesting for when they come in to see Pagel on the other side.

I just don't understand, and I am not singling out Globe or any other member, but people ask questions in here and if they took 20 seconds of research they could answer their own question. For example, when will UMASS join the MAC. Took me 17 seconds to find that out. Or will Wednesday basketball game be on TV. Took me less than 30 seconds to find out. I didn't mean to come off as a pricking but apparently to some I did. At least I got myself into a new club!!!

I just don't understand why you get so frustrated about it. Sure I could have looked it up, and maybe I should have, but the question leads to more discussion if a grumpy puss doesn't derail it. The spirit of the thread is simply our ex QB v us next year.
