Official Signing Day News
I apologize if this should go in the Recruiting section, but tomorrow is a big day for football and I figured it wouldn't hurt to start a thread on the Football section about this. Feel free to move or delete if necessary.
I'll try to post videos or links to each of the recruits as they come across the wire tomorrow. I know a couple guys have posted writeups to specific recruits in the Recruiting section, and I'll link to those topics when the official letters come in.
As of right now, John Wagner from the Blade has personally confirmed this list:
http://toledoblade.typepad.com/falconfo ... ve-it.html
I'll wait til their official tomorrow to provide links or information.
Of note in that article: Mikhail Dubose and Tyler Goble have both reopened their recruiting, I would imagine because of big school offers. I think Goble will end up signing here (his brother starts at DE) but I'm not sure about Dubose. Also, Givens was given a scholarship so he will be on the team next year.

Why would you re-open your recruiting if you were not going to switch teams? Is there a good reason that I am not thinking of?bgdodgeball4 wrote:I apologize if this should go in the Recruiting section, but tomorrow is a big day for football and I figured it wouldn't hurt to start a thread on the Football section about this. Or now...according to Rivals...Goble will sign with Navy. I think that's pretty cool...tough to question that decision...

Not sure if the word "excited" is appropriate, but I thought it interesting that the 1st 4 kids in were all linemen! And it appears that ALL the Prospective linemen are now in too.

The guys that fill an immediate need are the Chief, Allen and if he signs, Pettus. The rest of them should redshirt unless they just blow the coaches away.

I'm looking forward to Jahlil Croley, 6'3 245 from Cincinnati Princeton. Could be the guy that takes over for Dwayne Woods after this year.Globetrotter wrote:Which of these guys are you most excited about?
Erick Hollman, 6'0 195 from Ft. Lauderdale, could be the same type of player as BooBoo in the coming years.
