Anyone want to Explain this one to me

Akron: Jim Tressel's title at Akron will be vice president of strategic engagement. He will be paid $200,000 annually.
Sounds pretty shady to me being that anything in the athletic dept would put them up for sanctions. Looks like the Zips are working the system with this one.

If he works with Akron's football team it will assure that he has no contact with any athletes so it should be OK with the NCAA.

Doesn't have anything to do with Athletics.
Some call it Strategic Planning others Strategic Management.

If you guys don't think he will have his hand in the football program you are on drugs. Why the hell else would they create this fictitious position for him

I think Tressel will be wearing the Zippy costume and a sweater vest.
As long as he isn't near our program, I don't care. LOL!

I can't decide if this is a good day for the MAC or a bad day for tOSU fans. Seems like it's probably mostly a blah day for Tressel fans.
I don't care for OSU, and I doubt it matters much who their coach is. They will probably do well regardless.
Maybe Clawson can stick around long enough to get a shot at the title. He's doing his job right, and that's what matters to this season ticket holder.
