Does anybody know where I can buy a replica football jersey with numbers ?
All I can find is a #1 jersey, and I am looking for a different number. I have seen fans at the games with them , so I know they are available .
Any help would be appreciated.

SBX sells them. I don't think they're posted online, but if you call them they will take care of you.
You might want to wait, with the new jerseys coming out this year.

Advice... go with a "retro" brown jersey.
I have a feeling our jersey's will just keep changing every 2 years.

A blank jersey runs around $60 and the numbers will add around $35. SBX cannot sell a jersey with a name on the back as this would be a violation of the NCAA but...an individual can have the name put on.
And...BG will have new home and road uniforms this year. The players helped to choose them from what I understand. Can't wait to see what they have come up with.

I've heard rumors of what they are supposed to look like, its Adidas version to keep up with Nike, although more traditional, Adidas wants to keep some flash and intrigue in their jerseys. A MAC school just got new uniforms this year too and they are of a similar design I believe. Although not confirmed and the jerseys haven't been released but I heard an early August reveal is in order.
Lets hope we have a solid look this year that everyone likes because I agree that we need to find one style and stick to it, we aren't Oregon. Although I would like to see us mix it up a bit maybe with a Brown or Black jersey in the future as well as maybe a new helmet, wearing Orange and White every Saturday in this age of college football is very boring.

Eastern's new design is pretty good, modern yet not over the top. They are sporting grey alternates. If BG goes with an alternate hopefully it's brown and or a throwback design. Texas A & Ms new adidas uniforms are also good.

I hope ours aren't orange/brown models of Eastern's adidas "winged" template. I'm afraid they will be though. I say that not with the opinion that design looks bad necassarily but that it would appear to be a bit of a template...

Mike,
I agree strongly with you on this one...bad enough that many of our coaching staffs are wearing black as it is...don't know what braintrust came up with that, but it is NOT in BG's color palette!

The new uniforms will have the same 3 wing design on the shoulders, just like EMU. And the new travel suits are black instead of orange like last years .

So, we forget our school colors....again....who the heck is making these decisions? (I know that my son has told me in the past that Adidas doesn't carry Brown as one of its base colors, but this is still ridiculous, IMO! )

Denny, Mike - agreed. It's Orange, Brown, White ... No Black.

A template uniform doesn't really bother me as long as it looks good. Last seasons uniforms were the same as Cincinnati's. I do like the way Eastern's look.
Hopefully there is a brown jersey with, Bowling Green across the front.

And I'll be fine with a template, even a template design that changes every 2-3 years if we could possibly purchase adidas branded replicas and/or authentics.
