I always pick BG cuz I'm stupidly blind like that. But I really think the Falcons have a chance to pull an upset here. The FL D will be crazy good, no doubt. But I really like the matchup of our D against the Gator O. FL will be playing two QB's which, IMO, bodes well for us. It would seem to be harder for FL to get in sync and the possibilty of turnovers increases. I think our D turns out to be very good in 2012.

Obviously, this is Florida, one of the premier programs in the nation. They will have talent out the azz and then some. The key is not to let the game snowball outta control in the first half, like the WVU game last year. The X factor? Brian Schmeidibusch...he is a game changer and can really bail out the O when needed. FL will have the edge in the kicking game with Sturgis.

So...that being said, I will pick BG to upset the #23 Gators, 23-20...on a last second FG by Tyler Tate.

I think our only shot is if the Florida offense struggles and we hold them to mostly field goals. If Florida puts up a bunch of points I don't see us putting more than 20 points on a good SEC defense. Roll along.

That's the thing...Even as good as our O can be, this is one of THEE premier D units in the nation. Points will be tough to come by. Now, it would be great if Boo Boo could break a return or the D could come up with a pick 6. I do not see BG scoring more than 23-24 points so our D needs to keep the Gators out of the end zone.

This is a tough one. I am a Florida fan that worries about every game. That is just who I am. The Falcons are improving with Coach Clawson, there is no doubt. UF has so many question marks on Offense.....will we have the answers this Saturday?

I predict a very ugly game on Florida's part, with a final score having UF win 34-20. I think our D will not give up too much, but your return game will either score or set your offense up, plus we will have our turnovers and the like. Florida will be flagged about 10 times...you can count on that....just kind of ugly really.

No blow out, that is for sure. The Falcons will be better than last year, that is for sure. Florida better be ready.

Ah, first prediction of the new season...

I say BG starts off on fire and takes the lead early, but Florida's defense starts to settle in after that. The Florida O puts some points up before half and its still somewhat close in the 3rd but they pull away after that.
