Anyone else heading down? We're staying in Princeton, WV the night before and driving in. Noon game kinda sucks, but, oh well.
Our seats are in section 19 in the far end zone. Hope to see at least a little bit of BG orange.

Va Tech fans on ESPN aren't very optimistic about the game...Hokies are a 19 pt fave. IF we play like we did in Gville, we can win this game. Anything less and it could be a long day...
ESPNU at noon...
GO FALCONS!!!!

for those attending:
BLACKSBURG – Saturday’s football contest between Virginia Tech and Bowling Green will be Military Appreciation Day. The football team will wear camouflage helmets and a special jersey with camouflage numbers, and the Marching Virginians and Highty-Tighties will hold a special patriotic halftime performance.
Prior to the game Saturday and as part of the Highty-Tighty pregame show, Medal of Honor recipient, Col. Wes Fox, will be recognized, and Lt. Col. Mike Miller will recite the Hokies Respect creed.
In addition, Cadet Capt. Kyle Cawthon, a senior in the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, will run out of the tunnel with the Hokies carrying a commemorative flag in honor of Virginia Tech Police Officer Deriek Crouse. Officer Crouse, whose badge number was 152, was killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop on the Virginia Tech campus last December. Officer Crouse was also a proud member of the United Stares Army and an Iraqi War veteran.
A WWII B-25 is set to fly over Lane Stadium following the national anthem and a P-51 Mustang is set to fly over following the halftime performance. The Hokies and Falcons are set to kickoff at noon.

Won't the camo give them an advantage? "Anybody see that receiver? He was just here."

Per John Wagner's article in today's Blade looks like Joplin is questionable for the game this Saturday due to the ankle he tweaked in the Toledo game. Definitely want Joplin 100% for MAC games, but this could be an opportunity for someone else to step up-- would love to see some of those slants go to Stokes and see what he can do in the open field.
