Pick the MAC week 7!

I figured I'd get this week rolling since there is a Friday game. And thanks BIG TIME to 24 for all the work this year on this game. I'll see if I can get standings posted soon ...
The week ...
Friday October 12, 2012
Navy at Central Michigan, 8:00 pm
Saturday October 13, 2012
Kent State at Army, noon
Toledo at Eastern Michigan, 1:00 pm
Akron at Ohio, 2:00 pm
Western Michigan at Ball State, 3:00 pm
Buffalo at Northern Illinois, 3:30 pm
Miami at Bowling Green, 3:30 pm
And ... my picks.
Navy. Navy's not all that great this year and CMU is not half bad, but it is tough to prepare for their offense.
Kent State. I think Kent > CMU and Navy > Army, so Kent gets the edge, even though they also have to prepare for the triple option. Kent's D is really good this year. Quick odd tidbit ... Army just won their first game of the season, over Boston College. They got beat by Stony Brook 23 - 3 but they beat BC 34 - 31. Head scratcher there.
That team up north. EMU stands 0 chance unfortunately.
Ohio. I believe Akron will stick around and Ohio will be unable to put them away until late in the third, but with great coaching adjustments and execution they get the job done.
Ball State. This one's tough to pick. WMU has a tendency to choke against the better MAC teams, and BSU is certainly one of the top in the conference right now.
NIU. NIU is one drive from undefeated right now. Hard telling who the best in the west is, there are four legit candidates, but as of this moment I give the nod to NIU.
BGSU. That team down south has looked pretty bad so far, but they do have one very bright point ... they can pass well. Their top rusher left the game last week against Cincinnati with injury, no telling if he returns, but regardless I think our D has a hay day against that offense. Our rush offense is the focus this week from the first drive of the first half instead of the first drive of the second half and we control the clock, the tempo, and the game from the first drive in a dominant win.
