5-18! Dont get excited

5-18 is the combined record of the teams we have beat.... After watching this team play yesterday offensively I am not sure they even end up bowl elibigble; might have a shot against Buffalo at the end of the year, but the way EMU and KSU are putting up points if our defense gives up 21 pts we lose. I say we go 1-4 to end the year just like we started. What do ya'll say? ](*,)

We don't play that many games unless we make the conference championship or a bowl game. With a total of 6 wins, we would be essentially the last team chosen to a bowl, if we go.

As for how I think we'll finish, we will finish 2-2 on the low end, 4-0 on the high end. Beating Eastern and Buffalo shouldn't be a problem, and Kent and Ohio will be the challenges. Relax, grumpy.

Last year we played the toughest conference schedule in the MAC and missed being bowl eligible by a hair. I don't care if we are playing a weaker schedulebecause it's our turn.

This board amazes me...people bitch when we lose, people bitch when we win. We're coming off two straight sub-.500 seasons. Enjoy a few wins for God's sake.

As for the rest of our schedule....I agree with footballguy.

Agree with Flipper, this board is nothing but a bitchfest. I wouldn't care if the teams we've beaten haven't won a game all year - would you rather lose to those teams. The mighty Bobcats nearly lost to that team we just shut out yesterday. This team will be tough to beat the rest of the year, and I predict 3 wins by a solid margin, with a close win in Athens. 9-3, MAC Champs, bowl game.

I don't care if we win our remaining games without scoring an offensive touchdown as long as we keep winning.

You can only beat/play the teams that are on your schedule and we should make no apologies for that.

Enjoy the Ws and the nasty D.

Obviously you have no understanding of the game. All we need to do is score one more point than our opponent in each of the next four games. If we do that, we have four more wins. May not be pretty, but if we win one game by 50 and lose three of the four, we only get one W.

Quit worrying about how pretty the win is. Beat EMU!

BTW ... toughest game from here on is not Ohio. It is Kent. Better defense, Dri Archer, etc. OU keeps barely beating teams, including ones we handle, but Kent is blowing them out of the stadium. I think we beat OU and Kent is a tossup. And EMU can't stop our run game and their offense, though powerful recently, won't do much against us.

We'll see how fast Archer is in NW Ohio on 11/17. Might be hard to get loose if it's sleeting.. :)

We're beating the teams were suppose to beat and convincingly.

Shut the f*ck up and enjoy the nice 4 game win streak. Hope for more wins. 2 more wins and were likely bowl eligible. 3 more wins and were likely going to Detroit.

Our losses came to the #2 team in the country, a co-leader in the MAC West, and a solid Vtech team having a mediocre year. Only 5 losses in that group as well. Enjoy the ride and cheer for the best.

The teams OU has beat are a combined 13-38, trying telling them not to be excited about their undefeated record and national ranking. I don't care how BG plays, as long as they win I'll be happy, because "you play to win the game"

Cinci +1

Anybody thinking we have an easy schedule needs to take a long hard look at OU. They caught Penn State with their pants down (no pun intended) during the fallout of their scandal. After that, it has been a montage of the worst teams in division one.

If a favorable schedule does propel us to Detroit, then I agree with Flipper. It is definitely our turn. Many other teams in the MAC, including OU and Kent, have had theirs.

You play who you schedule. I'm sure our tone about this would be different had we defeated Florida or Toledo, but BG is beating the teams it needs to, and that's all that matters.
