John Wagner said BG will open with Oregon in 2018. So, I guess we are still going to play BCS teams in the future.

vs Maryland
@ La Tech
Probably an FCS school. Heck of a schedule.
Also, looks like the game in Columbus is a 2 o'clock start according to BG Athletic's website.

From what I've seen tweeted by SIDs and BGAthletics twitter pages its 2pm if no TV, 11am if its on TV

I believe I also saw somewhere that BG finalized a 2016 game with An Ohio State University in Columbus.

Thanks for the update. I have been to Autzen and it's an awesome stadium. Also glancing at our future schedules, it looks like our home game vs Maryland got pushed back from 2016 to 2018. It also appears we will open up the 2013 and 2014 seasons on Thursday night again.

I was at Autzen back in 2007 when my BIL got married...they live in Eugene. Talk about a road trip!

Yep, September 3 for that one.
As an aside, Ohio State also announced a home and home series with Oregon for 2020 and 2021. (Or maybe Oregon announced it with their other future games, ours included.) Nonetheless, more evidence that OH St was serious about only playing non-conference games games against BCS conference schools. Their future schedules in 2017 and beyond are only BCS schools at this point.

Wow, Memphis going to the Big East?! In my opinion, that conference is overrated and it's very debatable whether they should even get the automatic BCS bid, however, they are a step up from Conference USA. Memphis St. can't even seem to compete in Conf USA (1-7 this year and I don't recall them having a great deal of success in recent years), so why are they heading to a bigger conference? Given that the Big Least takes a lot of criticism for being too weak, I'm surprised they would take a team like Memphis, rather than trying to bring in a stronger program.

Big East is desperate. Memphis does bring a strong basketball program though and I suspect that had a lot to do with it.

Memphis going to the Big East is a basketball-centric move, their bad football team is along for the ride.

One note had us scheduling Texas St. in 2015...but the 2015 schedule doesn't show it, though it lists three other schools...wonder what happened with them.
