I Told You So - Go BG

After the tough loss to Virginia Tech, you would have thought that a tornado hit Northwest Ohio and completely demolished this website and the entire lovely town of Bowling Green. Fans were calling for DC’s head, others said that the QB was the problem and that we should bench our 3 year starter for a redshirt Freshman, others even proclaimed that we would not win more than a few games the rest of the year.
While the majority of you were CONVINCED that this squad was not a bowl team. I came out and stated that we played probably one of the toughest September schedules in the country. I said that we should evaluate this team after we played some MAC games and moved on to the next portion of our schedule. In other words, I tried to stay calm and realize that championships are not won after one road MAC opener and 4 non-conference games.
Unfortunately, this message did not fly with you all. So, knowing the team a lot better than the majority of everyone here and knowing that my point was a lost cause on this forum at a time like that, I stated that I would check in after a 5 game winning streak leading up to one of the biggest games in program history (And you have not heard from me until now).
I was then wished luck because I clearly did not know what I was talking about and I was completely unaware of how things work around here and was set up for sure disappointment.
I could continue to ramble on, but I’ll just end this post by saying that I told you so. And I hope you all jump on the bandwagon now and actually support your alma matter/school rather than constantly bashing on them and coming to rash conclusions. Try having some faith in your team, it might actually brighten your spirits.
Shout out to all the true Falcon supporters out there and lets do this thing! Roll Along.
Go ahead and rant about how we should have beaten all of those teams and tell me how our offense is bad and the only reason we win is because of our defense.
What does it matter if we win because we put up 40+ points or because we give up 10 or less?
I’m prepared for the critics and I’ll see you in Detroit.
