Terry Bradshaw and negative remarks...

I heard that today on the NFL show Terry Bradshaw made a comment that Cleveland was so bad they had to get a "castoff" quarterback named Josh Harris from some place called Bowling Green. I personally didn't hear this...but if so...What a Jerk.
Did anyone else hear this?

I didn't hear it, but I wouldn't take any offense. There are about four people on the face of the earth that don't know that Terry Bradshaw is completely retarded. Those four people live somewhere in the hills outside of Pittsburgh and are, themselves, retarded.
F**k him anyways. Retard.

go here...
http://msn.foxsports.com/story/3244652
and scroll down a bit, and you'll see a section called "NFL VIDEO" click on the link that says "Video Home" and then scroll down to the video that says "FOX NFL Sunday: Rapid Fire." Bradshaw makes his comments a little less than 5 minutes into the video. He doesn't say exactly what you said but its pretty close...
James Brown: "How pathetic are the browns?"
Terry Bradshaw "Oh they're bad. They're bad. I do like McCown... their youg quaterback out of Lousiana Tech I might add. Lemme tell you how bad it is in Cleveland. They had to go on the practice squad to the Ravens to bring in this kid named Josh Harris out of.. where... where did he go to school? Bowling Green?"
James Brown: "Bowling Green quarterback, yeah."
Terry Bradshaw: "Thats how bad. He might play today for Cleveland."
He said something at the end of this last comment, but I couldn't make out what it was. But you get the point...

That's one of the many "other" Bowling Greens. We have the National Tractor Pull Championsips!

Gang: I'm not a big Bradshaw fan, but let's not bash him too much. OK, he stumbled when he tried to name Josh's alma mater. Let's face it, many folks couldn't name the school of most guys on NFL practice squads. That being said, he did, in fact, get it right.
Now, take Josh & BG out of the equation. A team is starting a rookie quarterback. They sign another rookie quarterback, drafted in the sixth round, off the practice squad of another team whose offense is patently horrible. And this new signee may play four days later. Sounds pretty grim, doesn't it?
So when he says, "Thats how bad. He might play today for Cleveland" I happen to think he's right.

Maybe Bradshaw feels threatened by Josh. They're aren't too many La. Tech players in the league, and McCown is the only La. Tech QB....and remember that is Bradshaw's alma mater. Wouldn't it suck for him if Josh supplanted McCown as starter here in the next two weeks. Just let him go....unless it has to do with the Steelers he is basically ignorant of it. You'd think someone in broadcasting with a background in both pro and college football would know that Bowling Green has posted 2 bowl trips in a row and aren't flying under the radar anymore. I love how he tries to make Bowling Green look like some far off place on the college football radar. Wherever we are on the radar, it's not like La. Tech is anywhere ahead of us in notoriety. I never liked Bradshaw, he is the consummate example of what Howard Cosell used to talk about when he complained of stupid jocks getting broadcasting jobs over people that actually deserve them.

you mean the same bowling green produced the top ranked college qb in the nation last season....the same bowling green that plays in the MAC? The same conference that has produced terrific starting quarterbacks like Pennington, Leftwich, Roethlisberger?
oh yeah...that bowling green.
get a grip Terry!

I'm in the let's not get worked up camp on this one.
The Browns are pathetic. Signing a guy off another team's practice roster and having him suit up five days later isn't really a common practice in the NFL.
The cutting on BG isn't necessary, but the Browns are pathetic.

Look at it this way...."Bowling Green" got name recognition!
And Terry played at La Tech....not exactly the pinnacle of college football.
Sounds like Craig James and his comments at times...and he played at SMU.
