Very exciting! One of the reasons I wanted them to do well against Miami. I think it's a crime that NIU is still unranked though...lost by 1 point in week one to a B1G opponent. I think it's impossible for the espn crew to get over themselves and maybe rank TWO MAC teams that deserve it!!!

1st time since 2009 a ranked team has come to the Doyt. No idea how long it's been since BG played a ranked MAC team at home.

Probably 2003...

NIU was the last ranked MAC team to play at BG, Boise was the last ranked team period in 2009.

What is eye-popping about Kent State's running backs is they have not one - but TWO - 1,000-yard rushers this year in Durham (1,059) and Archer (1,043)!!!! Archer is averaging nearly 10 ypc (9.7). If you miss this guy, he is GONE! Period. I know our defense has done a great job nearly all season long locking down on teams' top rusher, but this is going to be an all new animal to deal with this week.
