Any word on how they're going?

GC mentioned at the presser down in Columbus a few weeks ago that they've sold 5000 tickets so far.

I'm sure that includes all of the season ticket holders that were forced to buy them, and many that won't use them. I would also bet that the number is inflated to help hype sales.
Anyone have any idea how many season ticket holders we have? 3000?

Should we start a pool ($1 entry fee) and guess the ACTUAL number of butts in the seats?
(sort of like jellybeans in the bowl) I'm quite sure they won't be too hard to count! ;)

BUFFALO GAME:
It's gonna be bad whether it's in BG or Columbus. Let's give it a rest.

Hopefully that means you wont show up. Just don't go, if it's that big of a deal for you, don't go.

Everyone on this board gets it. You hate the AD, you hate everything about the athletic department, and you hate the game in Columbus.

We don't need reminded in every thread about the Buffalo game and you don't need to remind us of your hate for Christopher, we all know.

It gets old opening threads up just to see you piss and moan about everything Christopher and the athletic department does / tries. Especially something that hasn't happened yet and could be a success.

You guys don't think the Kent game will sell out do you? Only reason I'm asking is so I don't drive an hour and 15 min north and not be able to see a football game

I doubt the Kent game will sell out. I do think the crowd will be good though. Should be among the best crowds we've had in recent history for a MAC game.

The Buffalo game in 2008 should have one of the best too...sadly, we only had 13,284.

Although this team is more exciting and the game is on a Saturday...but I'm still guessing on 17-18,000.

I expect a Miami-type crowd...17,500 with a decent contingent of Kent fans.

Weather looks great...50 degrees and partly cloudy. I'm hoping for a packed home side and 3/4 full on the east stands. We need as much noise as possible!

If the seat availability map on Ticketmaster is correct and if the students show up, it looks like the crowd will be pretty good, all things considered.

I have my 4 seats on in section 13a row 23, and will be by myself. Any AZZer's who like to join me are welcome to my three extra seats as long as they want to make some noise.

Well that would be a first as I've never seen Kent bring much of any fans to the Doyt in the past. Don't expect them to add too much to the total. I'm hearing rumors of them busing in students and other fans but we'll see on that.
