There isn't a 10 day wait like the last couple weeks so that's a positive. :D

Sucks man... :x so close to playing for the title and gone. BG played hard...Kent played hard. Both landed shots back and forth. That is a VERY good football team at Kent. Archer...sheet. What can ya say? The most electrifying player in the MAC and probably nationwide. He's done that to a lot of teams. Both teams are very even and it showed. Kent's D is good...stuffed out running game. But we shredded them for 355 passing. Gotta feel for these players as they work their tails off...I know I'm still really bummed. But it was one of the best, most even games I've seen in a while and a blast to watch. Anyone that thinks MAC football sucks it out of it. There is some VERY good talent in the MAC.

So? Take it out on Buffalo and make a statement that BG may get knocked down, but we won't stay down. BG would be a very nice pick for a bowl. Extra practice time with bowls is always a plus. Even more important is to finish strong and a possible 9-4 record. I thought 8-4 at the start of the year and I'd be pleased with that...knowing this team will return 21 starters next year.

Closing the deal means just that. Finish the right way cuz winning always beats the tar outta losing. It's been a fun year so far and the longer it lasts, the better. We have some real good leadership amongst the players who, without a doubt, will get it done. I love the guts and passion of our players.

BEAT BUFFALO and let's see what happens with the bowls. GO FALCONS>

Mike,
I'm surprised that NO ONE has seemed to question our coaches "game plan" for Kent...the story all year was that they had problems with spread offenses that THREW the ball a lot. So we come out determined to run the FB, and they obviously game planned to STOP our runnng game...Wasn't until the 2nd Q that we finally woke up and began to throw the ball downfield, and look what happened.

I can't deny it was an entertaining/exciting game to watch, but I couldn't help thinking that our staff didn't make the adjustments until it was almost too late... And yeah I know we had a crucial deflection/pick at our own 20 that set up the winning score, but we still had several chances to come back and tie to at least go to OT.
See you in Columbus, assuming my stepdaughter doesn't deliver our newest grandchild before then. GO FALCONS!
