The Cincinnati Enquirer, a great American newspaper, reports that former Miami players John Harbaugh and Aaron Kromer are on a list of possible candidates to replace Terry Hoeppner.
Harbaugh has been coordinator of special teams for the Philadelphia Eagles since 1998.
Kromer is in his fourth season as offensive line coach of the Oakland Raiders. He was on the Miami staff from 1990-98 and coached the offensive line in 1998 before going with Walker to Northwestern for two seasons as offensive line coach.
Offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Shane Montgomery is expected to be interviewed. Assistant head coach Jim Wachenheim, who oversees running backs, also could get an interview. Another candidate to watch is Kevin Wilson, the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Oklahoma.
