Clawson isn't on the radar for anyone. If he has a 9-10 win season next year, he's gone most likely. Staying put this year.

I think he's gone next year...would be great if it were in two years because we should be siging a full class in 2014.

Atleast the new guy will get to put his mark on the new group if he has more schollies. That's the issue with basketball. The new coach might only have 2 schollies in his first class.

Campbell to UC? I'd be shocked. I think it will be Michigan State DC Pat Narduzzi. He was the DC at Cincy and even though they passed on him to hire Kelly a few years back...they might view him as ready now.

In all seriousness, yes, Butch Jones just got hired at Tennessee, and I have seen at least one list of potential candidates for the newly vacant Cincinnati job that includes Dave Clawson. Personally, you can count me among those that hope we have a few more years of Coach Clawson at BGSU.

I also saw someone from SI tweet out that its possible Clawson could be a candidate for the UC job

I don't think he is going anywhere but with so many coaching changes every year it is definitely possible.

BG would have to open up the wallet for Studrawa, he makes $500,000 at LSU.

Durkin is intriguing. Young guy, worked at some of the top programs in the country. Familiar with BG.

Probably wouldn't even consider Bayless.

I was kidding about Bayless...but actually seeing that he isn't coaching anywhere (and knowing nothing about his relationship to BG other than that he played here) he might be a good guy to have on staff in some capacity. Any other recent BG players of note?

Whats the difference in pay from coaching at BG and coaching at Kent and Toledo?

Clawson is not going anywhere.

But on the topic of former assistants who would make eventual great head coaches, I've seen the names DJ Durkin and Zach Azzani come up recently with a lot of compliments. I also would think Mick McCall would make eventually a great head coach.
