I'm guessing then Sept 22, home against Murray State, will be homecoming. Good schedule. Road SEC game against the most beatable 2013 SEC team not named Kentucky, road winnable Big Ten game, home against a C-USA team that we need to murder, home against an FCS and warmup to MAC play, then 2012's MAC schedule swapped home and away. I like it.

And what on earth did Akron do to piss off the league office!!?? They're in a rebuilding process, and the office gave them just what the doctor ordered ... BSU, UT, and NIU, and no Buffalo!!

If Akron's schedule is correct and they for some reason don't play Buffalo and for some reason do indeed have cross-over games against Ball State, Toledo and Northern Illinois, they might as well take a redshirt year.
I like the schedule as well. Its good that we play Eastern as the other cross-over. An 11 win Tulsa team to open will be very tough. I think Indiana and Miss State are winnable. I'd like to think that we should be able to handle EMU, Buffalo, Akron, UMASS and Murray State. And I think TSUN, Ohio and Kent State will be pretty tough games as well. And maybe Miami on the road could be tough even though they lose Dysert and have no run game.
Overall, I think every game on the schedule is winnable. However, there are several games that could go either way.

No extremely tough out of conference games but at the same time 3 of the 4 will be challenging games. Could see us going 1-3 just likely as 4-0. I'm pumped to make a road trip to Mississippi.

Ohio gets Central and Eastern.
Akron gets NIU, Toledo and Ball State.
Makes sense.

So basically, BG's MAC season will come down to Toledo, Kent State and Ohio once again. 2 of those 3 are home, which I like.

They lose some important pieces, but Archer is back if he doesn't decide to go pro. Nix and Keith are both gone, and I believe they lose a decent number of LBs and DBs.

Does anyone know which games (and dates) are homecoming and parents weekend? I'd like to get my hotel reservations early.

They won't announce homecoming or parents weekend for a little while. I bet homecoming is September 22 vs Murray State, but I wouldn't make any plans for that yet.

Judging by the dates of our non-conference schedule, we could be playing a MAC contest in week two on September 7th.
Aug. 29 TULSA
Sept. 14 at Indiana
Sept. 22 MURRAY STATE
Oct. 12 at Mississippi State
