Wish you were here

Just wanted to drop a quite note from Mobile. Weather is beautiful. About 70 degrees with a breeze coming off the bay. Going to try to enjoy it; tommorrow sounds nasty.

People are very friendly here. I bought a copy of Bill Clinton's "My Life" at the local Barnes & Noble, and they didn't even make me put it in a brown paper bag. :)

Can't wait for the game, already.

Wish more of you were here.

Where You Watchin The Parade?

Schad- Where are you gonna be for the parade? I am flying solo until my girlfriend lands at 10:30 so I would love to meet up with some BG fans. I am staying on Airport Blvd. off of I65 exit 3.

I walked around downtown, checked out the stadium and got a haircut. People are very nice and welcoming when they notice my Bowling Green gear. Gonna get a late afternoon lunch and go by Hank Aaron Stadium then down town for the parade.

Definitely enjoying the time here and taken it all in for those of you who couldnt make it. I always want to think of those who couldn't make it on here and others like my father who would enjoy this - I'll be thinking of all of you when I am privelaged enough to get to the game!!!

If you guys have any interest in military history or WWII specifically I would highly recommend the USS Alabama. It's a great tour for those history buffs :)

Yeah, what *is* the weather gonna be up there tomorrow? I'm driving from Indy to NWO sometime in the late morning/early afternoon, and I've heard all kinds of stories about what's supposed to be coming, how much of it is coming, and when. Ugh.

If it takes me 10 hours to get home from here, and I coulda made it to Mobile in the same time, I'm gonna hurt someone.

TG: If you are leaving in the early afternoon, you should be ok, I think most of the snow is coming this evening and overnight. Another report said 4-16 inches east of I-75.....ugh!!!

If coming from Indy, it might be prudent to go up I69 to Fort Wayne and Route 6 to BG. I know that this is a longer route, but better to avoid the possible snow issues by going 70 to 75.

I'm in Fort Walton Beach. Landed here yesterday, hopped on a motorcycle, rode around, stopped at a city park where they had a 20' x 50' ice rink set up under a tent. Lawnmower "zamboni", 100 kids with splayed ankles stumbling around, smiling. Then on to the fishing pier - guys fishing for bonita and redfish, and kids surfing. Then a boardwalk hike into Turkey Creek Marsh. Later on, BBQ!
Glad I brought my motorcycle raingear for the game tonight.
Supposed to get in to Cinci tomorrow afternoon....please have the snow plowed for my drive back home to Tiffin.
XOXOXO (remember those?)

Yeah, I was going to come across 70 to 75 to stay south as long as possible. Then I find out the snow is COMING from the south. And I'm actually going to Perrysburg first, and I-69 to US 24 is even quicker than 70 to 75...
