I finally bought season tickets for the first time this year! I don't know how many games I can make from Chicago but it feels good to start what I hope is a yearly occurrence, and I'll make sure there are two butts in my seats every game.

Gosh I wish I could. It takes me around 10 hours to get home to Bowling Green from my current place ... or it takes an airplane and a rental car. I'll be there for homecoming but that will probably be it this year for me.
Out of curiosity .... what are the season ticket perks? If it's worthwhile, I would consider buying a pair of season tickets to get the perks and have tickets to give to family and friends for when I'm a few states away ...

The "perks" as you call them include a free parking pass for all SIX home games ($60 value), TWO tickets to an away MAC of your choice...(some possible restrictions, guessing if we were playing "up north", which we're not). And 1st dibs and possible special rates on bowl game and or MAC championship game if we get there.
For $84 bucks a ticket, It's a heck of a buy.... we went to the Akron game last year, courtesy of BG, had the parking deal AND went to the Military Bowl for $10 a ticket! I'd say it's a pretty good deal.
Compared to OSU's "deal".... $79 a ticket PER GAME, except for the "premium" Wisconsin game that goes for $105, I'd say BG fans have a real steal!!!

I took the two free tix to the Ohio U game last year...had a feeling it was gonna be a BiG game.
O$U tickets are outrageous but there are a ton of suckers that will pony up the money to get a crappy seat in the Shoe. Just think...O$U plays Buffalo and Florida A & M this year. Worth $80? LOL!
BG has the best deal in college football...

$120 for the family pack that includes 2 adult tickets and 2 kids club membership. For football I've been sent all 4 tickets together the last 2 years. Little tougher for basketball - you've got to go in person to get all 4 for the whole season together.
For those families looking for a deal the Falcon Kids Club is biggest bargain in college athletics. We've used it for football, volleyball, hockey, and men's and women's basketball. The only real problem is that after 12 years old we can't get the deal due to NCAA regulations and by then I'm afraid our kids will be hooked and expensive (great way to increase the fan base).

Saw an article where OSU is doing "dynamic pricing." The Michigan game will be 150+ in some spots per ticket. That's just stupid.
My season tickets and parking pass will be less than what it would cost me for 1 OSU game.
Freak, you're right BG football is the best deal in college football.

$10 MAC Championship tickets, $10 bowl tickets, free away game (couldn't choose Toledo, last year), gift (nothing fancy. But, it's a freebie), free parking, discounted prices on single game tickets, invitations to special events, last year you got a sideline pass for part of the spring game.
You'll get all of that for $170 for 2 tickets. Pretty good deal.
