Granted, a brown one or two mixed in woulda been nice, but I'll take what I can get... its GAMEDAY, ya know!!!
an omen?
an omen?
So I just grabbed a small handful of M&M's, maybe 7 or 8, blindly grabbed a couple and popped them in my mouth, sat the others on the desk in front of me, and when I looked down to grab another, I saw all four M&M's were orange.

Here's an omen, and it's not good.
My g/f is coming over while I'll be watching the game.
Every single time she has witnessed BG football, we have lost. She saw the 2002 loss to NIU. She was at the 2003 MACC game. She saw the 2004 loss to NIU. She saw the 2004 loss to Toledo. Those are the only games she's ever seen.
Needless to say, she isn't impressed with our team, as she's only seen losing games.
What's even weirder, is during the Toledo game (we were watching at home), every time she wasn't paying attention or was off doing something else, we were doing good. Whenever she paid attention to the game, we played poorly. Basically, the whole reason we were up so much in the first half was because she was in the kitchen doing something. She sat down at the end of the half and started watching. And we all know what happened.
I tried to hint that I didn't want her to come over tomorrow, but she's going to anyway.
I just hope the curse ends. I'd like her to see BG in its winning ways.

Also, didn't they just come out with the blue m&m's a year or so ago?TG1996 wrote:So I just grabbed a small handful of M&M's, maybe 7 or 8, blindly grabbed a couple and popped them in my mouth, sat the others on the desk in front of me, and when I looked down to grab another, I saw all four M&M's were orange.

I think it's time you two take a "break". At lease for the evening,BGSU Falconz wrote:Here's an omen, and it's not good.

yup. and that one was gone in a hurry!bgsuman wrote: Also, didn't they just come out with the blue m&m's a year or so ago?
So Falconz... you're saying that all this time we've wasted griping about Brandon, Coach Stud and crappy play by the secondary hasn't really been their fault at all? Man, your woman owes alot of people an apology...
Shell out a few bucks for an evening at the spa. Sure, you lose a few bucks, but other than that its a win-win situation. Think about it, BG wins it big and she comes home in what is sure to be a very googly-eyed mood, if you know what I mean.
Could be an early christmas for you!

maybe all of us here can pool some $$ together to fund this idea...I think we may have something here...thedrum wrote:Shell out a few bucks for an evening at the spa. That is a great idea! Too bad my wife is already planning on taking the two youngest Warthogs to see Polar Express or she could have landed a deal like this.thedrum wrote:Shell out a few bucks for an evening at the spa. Simple Solution...
Really, if the Toledo (spit) game is any indication, don't you just have to make her stop watching if the game is going poorly?BGSU Falconz wrote:Trust me fellas, I really wish she wasn't going to watch![]()
But maybe....just maybe....we'll win while she's watching...and I won't have to keep her from any more games
