2013 Road Trips...

Looking at the road trips this year, definitely gonna make the trips to Indiana, Buffalo and EMU. Kent State is a no brainer being 20 minutes from our nest...love it when BG plays at Akron and Kent State.

Bloomington is gonna be a fun trip. Looks like roughly a 5 1/2 hour drive down I 71 to I 70. Speed limit in Ohio is increasing to 70 this summer

Miami is a Tuesday night...tough to make a 4 hour, one way drive, on a week night. It is scheduled for ESPN2 or the U, though. Miss State won't happen unless I win the contest on the official site. Yeah, I enter it every day. :D But it definitely will be on the ESPN networks somewhere.

118 days and counting til Tulsa comes to town...GO FALCONS!

Or you "COULD" modify your route to: Turnpike/toll road west to I69 south - a stop in Fort Wayne to pick up numerous brothers & sisters and then continue south approximately 2.5 hours? Just a thought!! \:D/

That is a pretty good plan. However, gotta save some funds for the MAC title game and bowl game... :-D

I'll be at homecoming. I would love to make it to IU but no idea on that one. Likely will do Buffalo.

We are probably in for Indiana. Mike, maybe we can work something out for Miami......? Road trip worked out pretty well for OU last season.

The Indiana trip is about a 4.5 hour trip for me. I'll have to think about that one. Do we have a game time for that yet?

The issue is Ohio is at the Doyt the following week so I'll need that night off from work...and besides, I am 0-4 lifetime in Oxford. I wasn't there in 2011 or 2009 and we won. LOL. I'd rather take a night off for a game at the Doyt than a road game and its on ESPN2 or the U.

I'm planning on going to all of our road games again this season. I've been to places stretching from Moscow, ID to Ruston, LA to Gainesville, FL to Chestnut Hill, MA to Madison, WI to see us play, so places like Bloomington and Starkville won't be stretches. I have been to all of our road stops before but Indiana was in the process of their major renovation/addition to Memorial Stadium when I was last there a few years ago and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turned out. I think IU has a beautiful inner campus and is one of the nicest Big Ten campuses IMO. They also have a pretty cool student union hotel you can stay in for those interested in trying to take in all of IU while there. I was at Mississippi State last year and see they will be doing a stadium renovation/expansion this year. Looks like the North endzone will be a construction zone during the season this year. I wasn't impressed with MSU at all but I appreciated getting to see it. Be ready for some cowbells down there though.
