How can we even compete?

How can we compete when we pay our coach 125,00 $ a year and Memphis, which to me compares in prestige is paying their coach 800,000$

Granted Branddon is under paid, but how does that make him a better coach? If we pull off the win tonight, who is the better ball team? Who is the better coach?

Well your point is a good one but completely invalid. I asked how we can compete. The point is all we have to offer is 1/6 of what Memphis has to ovffer and we expect to compete? And we are competing. But how can we expect to maintain that? Isnt that crazy to think about. Cant we pay Brandon 800,000$ and keep him here so we are continually good? WHy not?

Memphis is a misfit in CUSA. They're a big time University with an athletic budget that dwarfs ours. They belonged in the Big East even before it had to raid CUSA.
Even if they did let Bill Walton go 20-22 in the NCAA Finals
