Tulsa has a hell of a backfield coming back this season but they did lose much of their O line to graduation. Their defense lost 7 or so starters from last year so I like our chances to control the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Their receivers and backfield are awesome, but so is our defensive back seven. Our D line harasses their QB from the opening snap and our O line controls the line of scrimmage and the clock early. I say some forced turnovers lead to a lower score than predicted. BG 27 Tulsa 17.

We'll come out of the gates throwing the ball early to demonstrate our confidence in Schilz. We then transition to a more balanced attack. I may have overly high expectations of our offense, but I say we win 38-20.

Simply put, if 2011 Schilz shows up, BG has a good chance of winning, if its 2012 Schilz, its a loss.

Offense shows flashes and does enough to get everyone excited going forward. A score by either the D or special teams is the difference.
