Yep, just when you think the Falcons are going to be 6-0 they stink up the joint.

I remember why I ignore the football season.

BG of the last two years reared their ugly head today. Clawson has a lot of work to do this week to correct the issues on both offense and defense.

That it was...IU basically did whatever they wanted on offense. Ugh.

If you ignore football season, I assume you hibernate through BG Hoops season.

And yet we're still in first place in the MAC East with only 3 more MAC road games for the yr. I assume since you ignore football season we'll see you only in the hoops forum. God knows there's a team that will set the world on fire.

This needs to be forgotten fast because thinking about it will make your head hurt.

We're in Year 5 of Clawson and can't score a TD on the worst defense in major college football? WTF?

Toledo is Indiana-lite and these issues must get fixed before then.

Actually, yes, the WOMEN'S hoops forum, and the men's and football. I didn't say I hibernated through any season, I just know that when football starts, basketball is right behind it.

And, I sucked it up and bought both men and women season tix. Silly me.

What, 47 days until the circus begins (11/2/13).

Actually, according to the NCAA - #123 Miami (OH) is the worst defense in FBS

http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/ ... team/22/p3

#121 is Buffalo
#107 is Akron
#106 is Ohio
#102 is Kent State
#100 is Northern Illinois

The School Up North is tied at #65 with UNLV and .....

Indiana is ranked #77 which is 12 spots below The School Up North.

And our QB just had his SECOND start of his career. Too early to panic.

Our football program reminds me of the Rice Owls.

It's good that you stick to hoops, because you obviously don't have a clue about football.

BG wasn't supposed to win that game, despite all the bravado you might have read on here. IU is an up and coming program in the Big Ten, under a coach that has them improving by leaps and bounds -- especially when it comes to recruiting skill players. These are the type of players most MAC schools cannot recruit, and the type that typically cause MAC schools major matchup problems.

But why am I explaining this to you? You obviously don't care about anything but hoops. 8-)

The one thought bring reprieve is the possibility Indiana may be better than we think.

Wasn't the line like 3 points? How much is given just for a home game?

Yes, home field is worth 3 to 3 1/2 points. It would have basically been a pick 'em on a neutral field.
