Did OU LOSE today?

Got a call from a friend who just had seen our score pop up on ESPN...he said he thought that OU had LOST to CMU! Anyone know for sure? This would be a shocker to say the least, and possibly put us into the driver's seat if we can win out or at least beat OU head to head.

guess I didn't go far enough down on the board to see the answer to my question.... so UB and OU are now definitely our biggest threats in the east to say the least.

Yes they did. BG is in the driver's seat in the MAC East, although Buffalo is now 2-0, I believe.

I think the MAC East right now falls in this order ....
BG
Buffalo
Ohio
Kent
Akron
UMass
That team down south
And west as follows:
NIU
Ball State
That team up north
CMU
EMU
WMU

Just take care of our own business down the stretch and we go to Detroit to play for the title.

We're 3-0 against the MAC East with three more East games to go. If we beat Miami, Ohio and Buffalo, we'll be MAC East Champions and headed to Detroit to compete for a MAC title and would be locked into a bowl game. We're halfway there. We also have two games against the West in Toledo and EMU. We need to treat these just the same as you never know how tiebreakers will play out.

The MAC West games count the same as any MAC East game other than tiebreakers (head to head).

BG just needs to take care of their own business and they'll win the East. Ohio and Buffalo still have to play Kent State, and Buffalo also has to play Toledo, so BG is essentially in the driver's seat, but I really hope it doesn't come to relying on other teams for help.

8-0 in the MAC should be the only goal now that these OOC games are over.
