A week after the Toledo disaster which REALLY pisses me off for many reasons, I started to think is Toledo the school that actually hate the most? Yes, it is our arch rival, the school "up north", Tuck Foledo, etc. and I will never miss this game for as long as I live. But this week made me realize that as much I dislike Toledo and embrace the rivalry, I REALLY HATE the Miami Redhawks more than any MAC school bar none!! I live in the Columbus area and see Miami alumni with their corny "M" on their license plates and they always act as though they are superior to me as a BG grad. If you live here, you know what I am talking about!! And let's not forget our best team in years in 2003, which would have hands down won the MAC championship if it wasn't for Ben Roethlisberger and Miami!! There is nothing I want to see more tonight than a 50 to 0 Miami beat down on their own field tonight!! GO FALCONS!!

Who do you hate and why?

I hate both but terdledo more...I can't explain why I just do. But Muck Fiami as well.

When it comes to general bragging rights? Toledo. When it comes to actually winning games and going to championship games? Miami. Divisional opponent who we have a pretty bad history with.

I agree slashba...I dislike J.Crew U more than Toledo for the reasons you state.

I don't hate Miami...I had a blast down there during the time I dated a girl that went there. My wife went to Toledo, so............

The problem with BG / Miami rivalry is since the Rapist roamed their sideline neither team has been all good at the same time.

The MAC is a lot more fun when BG, Miami, and Toledo are all good at the same time.

The past 3 years has put a charge back in the BG / UT rivalry. Next year should also be a very good game.

Miami is 3 or 4 years from even being relevant again.

I will say Miami has the easiest fans to hate.

Who do you hate and why?

Miami. Especially their hockey team and the way they bailed on the CCHA. Toledo hasn't done anything nearly as dastardly.

This one is easy.

1. Toledo (primary rival and easy to hate)
2. Central Michigan (I HATE that school. It would make a fine nuclear waste dump. I find them to be the worst fans and coaches in the MAC)
3. The other Ohio schools
4. The rest of the MAC

This one is difficult to pick, in a way.

I grew up in Fairfield and went to school in Hamilton. It's a stones throw away from Oxford. Most Miami people do think they're better than everyone else. It's disgusting...

I still think Toledo is my #1 nemesis followed by Miami. Now, that is because I now live up here where more tsun alumni are.
If I lived back where I grew up, I suspect the two would flip.

It's the Journey has a good point about Central Michigan and their fans. I still remember going up to Mount Pleasant for a game in 2006...whoa were their fans nasty, and not just the students either. I had a couple of blasts thrown my way that night that would've made Eminem blush. Haven't been back since.

Eastern Michigan definitely has the dumbest, least knowledgeable fans in the MAC. Every time I go to Ypsilanti I am mystified by what some of their fans say. They pretend that somehow they are on our level, and that some of their players are all-MAC. Please. I realize it might be a difficult life being a perennial doormat in every sport that matters, but some people just don't know how to own it.

Akron has the most fans that want to fight you. This was especially true before Akron had their big downturn. That being said a lot of Zips fans are actually quite knowledgeable and inviting, you just have a certain contingent that is rough and tumble. Infocision is a blast to play at though...love that stadium.

Some Buffalo fans think that BG is in Alabama. No joke, I sat next to a big group of them in 2009. That shows you what terms UB and BG have with one another.

Miami fans and alumni are some of the most pompous, snooty jagoffs in the entire world. I just cannot stand them. They think that they are socially and economically better than you. For that reason I hate Miami more than any other school in the conference.

Kent State is probably the one school I've gone to see BG play at multiple times and never had a negative barb thrown my way. Maybe its because we always pack their stadium with 3-5k of our fans and they aren't a traditional football school. Have had nothing but great experiences there.

The other schools in the conference I've never been to.

I venomously hate Toledo and Miami. Once upon a time, those 2 teams were even on my hate meter, but in recent years Toledo has forged way ahead. I think it may have something to do with recent history, where we have had our way with the Redskins but can't seem to buy a win against the Turds. I have a number of Toledo people who I know personally and they keep feeding me crap about the last 4 years, which makes me boil. I don't have any personal connections to any Miami people, other than a couple of cousins that went there and couldn't care less about sports. That feeds a lot of my feelings against the Rockettes.

I know it's outside the scope of the thread, but if we expand the question to which team in Ohio do you hate the most, I'm not sure if I could decide between the Rockettes and the evil empire in Columbus. Anyone living anywhere in Ohio has to hear about them constantly, but with me being only a few minutes away from Columbus, I get force fed OSU crap 24/7 and it makes me sick. I hate Ohio State on so many levels..............

Miami grads think highly of themselves because they are typically smart and successful people. Their pride and self-esteem is usually warranted.

Most of the Toledo grads (or more accurate to say "attendees") I know are loud mouths without substance.

I hate Toledo.

It's a tossup between Ohio and Toledo. For me it comes down to the douchiness of their fan bases. Miami just doesn't quite fall to that level, close but not quite.
