I still haven’t forgiven the Huskies for beating us in the 1981 MAC Basketball Tournament my sophomore year. They beat us by one point after we had beaten them by 13 at their place a couple weeks earlier. They had a center named Allan Rayhorn that gave us fit. He was the ugliest, non-athletic looking basketball player I’ve ever seen but he could play. We were a perimeter team and didn’t have much in the middle.

So let’s kick some Husky butt tonight. This one is for you Allan Rayhorn!

Yeah, I remember that too. They had a pretty good quarterback named Tim Tyrrell. Lynch reminds me a lot of him.

Tyrrell actually played in the NFL for 6 or 7 seasons...as a running back. Maybe Lynch will do the same?
