1. What offensive system would you implement?
2. What are your thoughts on highly successful offensive systems such as the Oregon Spread, the Baylor Spread, the Texas Tech Air Raid and the Auburn Hurry-Up No Huddle?
3. How would your system best utilize the talents of the current players on the roster?
4. How should the spread offense be defended? Provide examples.
5. If you had to choose between a dominant defense and a dominant offense, which would you choose and why?
6. Describe a typical practice.
7. How do you manage halftime?
8. What involvement will you have with the OHSFCA?
9. What can be learned from a program like Alabama that can be applied here at BG?
10. A player is considering transferring due to a lack of playing time. How do you handle this situation?
11. A player's parent has called asking to discuss playing time. How do you handle this situation?
12. How do you manage player discipline?
13. Who do you plan to hire as your strength coach? Explain your philosophy on player development.
14. Who are you planning to hire as your coordinators?
15. Who are you planning to hire as your assistant coaches?
16. Who are you planning to hire as the Director of Football Operations and Assistant Director of Football Operations?
17. Who are you planning to hire as Video Coordinator?
18. How do you go about selecting coaches and staff members?
19. How do you go about evaluating the performance of coaches and staff members?
20. How is player retention best achieved?
21. What role do you envision yourself playing in selling the program to fans and alumni?
22. What involvement would you have with the student body?
23. How would you involve former players in the program?
24. What would your relationship be with football boosters?
25. How do you plan to differentiate your program from others within the conference?
26. What is your philosophy on players using Twitter?

29. You receive an email from an angry fan. How do you handle this?
30. What are your expectations for players during the summer?
31. Who are your mentors and role models in coaching? Describe how they've affected you.
32. Who have you mentored within the coaching profession? Describe this relationship.
33. In the event a band of lizard people assume command over the government, how would you greet their arrival?
34. A recruit is down to BG and Toledo. Sell them on BG.
35. A high school sophomore is identified as a potential scholarship athlete by a recruiting service you subscribe to. Describe their recruitment from first contact to signing the NLI.
36. BG currently runs satellite camps throughout the state. Would you continue this practice and/or expand it?
37. What specific recruiting contacts do you have in the state of Ohio? Michigan? Pennsylvania? Florida? List players you've successfully recruited from these states.
38. What is your philosophy on junior college players and what contacts do you have in the JUCO ranks?
39. A recruit is visiting BG for an official visit. Describe that process from arrival to departure.

#35 is a violation of NCAA rules as stupid as it may be . . . it's still a violation

Coaches cannot subscribe to the recruiting services, that's not to say their GAs and "wives, g/f's, etc" . . . don't but coaches cannot

33a. ..and that band of lizard people are playing the BGSU alma mater in -20 degree weather late on a Tuesday night in November minutes after a heart breaking loss. How would that be handled?
