It's important to keep this in mind. The reason we hire a coach in the first place and care if they're capable is to reach moments like this. We just had it less than a week ago and no coaching move should spoil the joy.

Nice little dig on WMU. I'm guessing Fleck would be one of the main guys calling BG recruits.

You have to be quite the jerk to, in a matter of months, alienate 75% of your own fan base and nearly everybody else in college football and Fleck is just that.

Ball State sent out this email to their boosters after beating him:

Dear Alumni and Friends,

We defeated Western Michigan University yesterday at Waldo Stadium by a score of 38-17 in front of a modest crowd of 10,274. After battling the Broncos to a 3-3 tie in the first quarter, we were able to stem the tide in the second and third periods. WMU closed the gap to two scores early in the fourth quarter, but we were able to batten down the hatches and respond with two long scoring drives, which eventually put the game out of reach. We improved to 7-1 (4-0 MAC) with the win while the Broncos sank to 0-8 (0-4 MAC).
