Congrats to our tremendous senior class. Their leadership was very instrumental this year and I look forward to seeing several at graduation ceremonies in May and August 2005.

I echo all the other posts- aside from from some serious game day rain, Mobile was a wonderful trip and the GMAC bowl folks could not have been more gracious hosts. The luncheon (great job, BG band, cheerleaders, colorguard and dance team!), the parade, the pep rally, the fireworks- all first class. And the food- love the oysters and Ben Jr.'s bar be que.

Loved the Memphis fans, their enthusiam and their serious go for broke style. They busted but it might have helped if Coach West and Coach Dunn took care of business. Hey Coach Dunn, your cover guys couldn't handle our wide receivers man to man- any of them. Be glad it was wet, be glad we threw one pass the last 16 minutes and be glad we took some knees. That's a 66-28 game. I wish the Tigers good luck next year and I sure hope the best running back we faced all year (Wolfe, Peterson and McDougle are right there too) is able to come back strong for the NFL or senior year.

Many thanks to our tremendous Alumni staff for their effort at the pregame and postgame parties. It is a little tough when a monsoon hits, but things turned out very well.

Now we can focus on recruiting. I know many posters have a lot of sources; I very much look forward to signing day.

I note the nation's number 67 OLB Jacque Jackson of River Ridge, LA will follow through and visit BG on the second visit weekend in January per Rivals. It will be interesting to see what happens with some of our southern based recruits and the GMAC Bowl exposure. Jackson apparently is still weighing an offer from UCLA- again per Rivals.

Go Falcons!
