the Pizza Bowl web page says parking is $25 in Ford field lots. Does anyone know of any cheaper parking nearby?

We found a $15 garage for the MAC title game about four blocks from Ford Field ... and also a few blocks from some great pubs.

There is an UNDERGROUND parking lot, across the street from the baseball stadium... don't know the name, but it was only $5 for the MACC game...they indicated that's the standard price, but I can't obviously guarantee that.

Park at Greektown for free and walk over...10-15 minute walk.

Sometimes though they make you show a players card to get in free...but mostly not. They didn't for the MACC.

DD and his family parked in the Greektown garage the last time BG played in this bowl. It might have been an aberation, but I'm pretty sure they didn't get out of the garage for 2+ hours after the game due to backed up traffic.

That is definitely an issue if there is a big crowd. If trying to go straight home I think the best bet is across the highway. There are some surface lots just over the highway that are super easy to get home. A longer walk if you want to hang at shillelagh but easy going home.

And the Old shillelagh is a must for anyone going!

Is this connected to a business or is it just shockingly cheap?

Grand Circus is not always $5. They charge $10 for Tiger Games and might be the same on other things depending on what is going on. But here's the rub. It is underground and really, really old. Tight parking, turns, drippy pipes etc. Can backup getting out of the underground depending on crowd size and other events going on in the vicinity. Fox Theatre and other concert venues. I used to park there for the Tigs but have not since the prices were raised to the same as more modern facilities nearby.

I park on the dirt lots across from the condos on Woodward...really easy to get out and onto either 75 or 94.

Had to be. But not being a weekend and no Redwing game, I can't see there being an issue tonight. I hung for about 15 minutes after the MACC and then walked back and drove right out with no delay whatsoever.

Any charge? I park over there for Tigers games, but I park for free on the street...just one block west of those lots.

Yeah it's iffy though. Greektown has had some financial problems lately as they're just barely turning a profit so I can imagine if they don't want to open up their garage for those trying to just get free parking. Great casino though
