Didn't see this posted but sounds like a big recruit for Dino. I'll let others debate his legal issues but just wanted to post this information before work.

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University football team is expected to add two potential impact players when school starts next Monday.

Wide receiver Roger Lewis, a four-star recruit while in high school, and defensive back Marcus Milton, his teammate at both Pickerington Central High School near Columbus and at Jirah Prep in Matthews, N.C., will enroll at BG for the spring semester.

He is 6'3 210. The kid can play. He was recruited by so many d.1 schools out of high school. I saw him play all his high school years.

That is some good height. Imagine Lewis and Gallon both on the field along with Moore and Burbrink for some speed.

Addition. J just read over his legal issues. There are red lights going off all over the place here. No telling why one charge was dropped another led to a hung jury but there is good reason for concern. I hope Babers is a good mentor for young men because kids who have legal issues need mentoring and positive examples, not just an opportunity.

If you don't live in Pickerington, you really don't know the details(Mark L).

Well, then, for those of us who don't live in Pickerington, is there anything you'd like to share?

Gallon...Dieter...Lewis that gives us three huge WR's to go along with the speed of Ronnie Moore? Good luck MAC DC's.

So far as the legal issues...what he pled guilty to was nowhere near as serious as what he was charged with and acquitted. He's gone through the system, paid his debt and kept his nose clean. I'm thinking he's earned a clean slate.

The charge wasn't dropped he was acquitted by a jury of his peers. Then on the second charge instead of going through another trial he plead guilty to a lesser charge which was agreed upon by the prosecution and the victim. He seems to have gotten his life on track and is living in the positive. He deserves a second chance until he proves otherwise.

Couldn't agree more. Why drag the kid thru more. Case closed.

Girl who filed charges said he r___d her the year before. The next year, she lets him come over to her house and borrow a book. Then ,she lets him drive her car. He gets pulled over for speeding. Then, she says he r___d her again. Parents didn't want her to date him also because of his race.

Seth,
Thanks for some background. I live about 9 hours from Pickerington so all I know is the results of the case. Hence the red lights. Thanks for information for those of us who only know what is in an article.

So before Globe even mentions it, will he play one year, get his feet wet, show other major programs he has changed and then ask to transfer to bigger school.

So how many years of eligibility does he have left? Is he a 4 year, or only a 3 year guy? He was a class of 2012 recruit according to rivals. Wasnt sure if he went Prep School, or JUCO or what exactly happened.

It's all well and good that he's paid his debt, yada, yada, yada, but one can also say where there is smoke there's fire - I for one am not thrilled that our first recruit has had two rape charges against him. Sounds a little familiar to a recent change in head coaches that led to a very dark period in our program. I hope the smoke is just a screen and he's a good kid, and that we're recruiting quality kids in our new program! Benefit of the doubt ...for now though.

He was being recruited prior to Clawson leaving.
