Shane Montgomery, current Off. Coord., 37, will be the youngest HC in college football. Announced during Hoeppner's pre-game pep talk.
On a side note, I hate listening to Bill Curry call a game.

I actually like Curry. Congrats to Shane Mongomery. Now, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe our Redhawk visitors can correct me, but it never occurred to me that Josh Betts was going to play in the NFL. Never once.

That was great way to announce the new coach. Normally, a new MAC coach is a sidenote in the papers at best. By announcing the coach this way, you announce your new coach on national TV. Great move on Miami's part.

Curry was OK, but who was the other moron doing color? Clue-less!

Absolutely! Every time he said the officials made a bad call, ESPN ran the replay and he would say that he was wrong. What a moron. Put him in the studio with Trev and Mark May and we would have some great analysis this bowl season.

Grad: Good call. BTW, could Trev look any more unhappy when he's in the studio. For goodness sake, it's bowl season and, if you love college football, you have to believe that this guy has one of the greatest jobs of all time. At least Mark May seems like he's happy to be there .... though I'd be happier if they weren't ...

More to the core of the problem, I don't think it never occurred to Josh Betts he might play in College Football. Never once.
Every major game this year, he has folded up and died when the chips were down. I'm honestly disappointed for Miami, though the prospect of pitting BG against them next year makes me happy.

The reason Trev Alberts looks like he is constipated with a bowling ball shoved up his butt is because he finds it beneath him to even acknowledge a non-BCS school is playing in a bowl game, let alone discuss the game. Give the man some E-Lax so he can relieve himself through his anus instead of his mouth.

Miami fans are pretty widely split between "Josh Betts is the worst...QB...EVER" and "Josh Betts is no Ben, but pretty darn good, and will be better next year". If he makes the leap that his proponents think will happen, it wouldn't be shocking if Betts bounces around the NFL for a while.

Trev has advocated setting up a mid major championship bowl as an adjunct to the BCS. Why not just consign us to 1AA and be done with it?....or was that Craig James...it's so hard to keep these analysts straight.
Does one need to bother sorting one blow dried pretty boy ex player from another?

It's like they have a maximum IQ requirement. Obviously, most never come close to the limit.
