2. Aussies coming?

Sentinal reporting that two FB players from Australia have verbal led to BG. One is 6' 7"- 336, the other is 6'5"- 315. Would be a first for us ....if it wasn't April 1. Then again, who knows?

You don't typically sign letters of intent more than a year in advance, so I have to believe these guys are being brought in to play this fall. Football doesn't have an early signing period the way basketball does. There are lots of football coaches out there who would like to have one in place, so they could wrap up certain players early and not have the process drag out until the last signing day.
I'd be looking for the Aussies to be in camp this summer with the rest of the freshmen recruits.

It doesn't say they signed LOI's, does it? The Aussie PR I saw just said they were "offered" scholarships....

Hopefully they communicate the terms of the offer clearly or else we'll see "Australian Prime Minister: BG No Longer Welcome on Continent" headlines.
