This change really messes up my plans to go. Gotta see what I can swing now.

Still works for us. Probably even a little better.

The CUSA release says the change is to accommodate national TV so I am guessing we might now be playing on ESPN2 or ESPNU. There are currently only two other games scheduled for August 29th and that is BYU at UConn and UNLV at Arizona.

Actually they partner now with CBS Sports Network and Fox Sports.

Few people (including recruits) will likely see the game anyway now because of the start of the high school football season on that Friday.

I wonder if Conference USA has ever done anything to "accommodate" the MAC. They're usually just interested in acquiring our teams.

.........and hope the repaving and bridgework on I-71 between Cincy and Louisville is finished by then. MAJOR backups of over 10 miles westbound where it goes down to one lane.

Good to know about the Corvette convention and highway. It's been years since I last missed a BG season opener but this date change threw me a curve ball based on other things going on. Hopefully TV will become a backup option just in case. But I would like to go back to WKU (nice stadium, nice campus). I was there two years and enjoyed the visit to Bowling Green.

Have they dug out all of the 'Vettes that were swallowed in the sink hole at the museum? THAT is going to be some massive paving.

Take the under because EVERYONE knows Bowling Green is in Kentucky. ;)
