The Bleacher Report has the top Hesiman candidate listed in each conference...Matt Johnson is their pick in the MAC for 2014.

Hey, I guess nothing is impossible. If Buffalo's Kalid Mack goes #1 in the upcoming NFL drfat, that will be two years in a row the MAC has had the number one pick.

A different slideshow on the same page had the top 2014 nationwide juniors. Both Greene and Johnson were on the list! :D

The formula to get in the conversation is big numbers and an undefeated season, both of which are possibilities. Babers coached RG3 the year he won it at Baylor.

The 2003 MAC Championship game was recently replayed on ESPN Classic. The receiver corps consisted of Charles Sharon, Cole Magner, James Hawkins and Steve Sanders.

Ronnie Moore, Chris Gallon, Heath Jackson, Ryan Burbrink, Gehrig Dieter, Roger Lewis, Jared Cohen plus wildcards like John Klingerman, Joe Davidson and Teo Redding could be the best since then.

I don't know about Heisman, but I sure would love to see him named MAC Player of the Year this season because that means both Johnson AND the Falcons would have had a great season.

Ditto! If a team had every kid on it's roster with his toughness, competetive tenacity and his ability to perform at the very highest possible level of his potential, then that team would never lose.

It is such a shame his size kept him from the NFL. He was on a roster for a very short time, but that was it.
