Probably not, and I'm still in the bunch that thinks as much as we'd like to see him get a few plays in, this isn't a very good situation to do it in, but this was on clevelandbrowns.com today:
"If Holcomb starts, Luke McCown will be the backup and Josh Harris will be the team’s third quarterback. Robiskie said there have been discussions about putting Harris into a game for evaluation purposes, but Robiskie said he’s hesitant to do that because he’s unsure how comfortable Harris is with the Browns’ offense."
We shall see, I guess....

Part of me is scared that if Josh does not get a chance this year he never will. If you know what I mean. So many players slip through the cracks and never get a chance.

I know exactly what you mean.
Read: Nate Hybl (not to compare the two, but with the horrid situation the Browns had at QB last year, with one guy sucking, and the other guy kind of sucking, but on 12 different broken bones, and Nate Hybl still never got a whiff of time? Not good. Of course, Bootch Ball is gone, so who knows what direction the team will take.)

I mean three weeks ago he was a practice roster. He is in the position he is in now because of injuries. I think he needs to make the most of that opputnunity if he can get it because you never know.

It is really doubtful he will see the field this week. Holcomb is expected to start, so he will be the number three QB. Unless they decide Holcomb can't go, or he only can go a few series and the McKlown comes in and throws three INTs we won't get a chance to see J7 play.

J7. Almost sounds as good as J5. I'll take whatever I can get
I've been a life-long Browns fan. But, if J7 is not the starter or at the very least back-up for Cleveland next year, F**K the Browns and go Steelers!!! I never thought I would say that but I am sick to death of rooting for A.) a loser and B.) a team that can't for the life of them manage their personell effectively. If they let Josh get away, they are a dumber group than I though.
I don't want to be a Steelers fan. That would vindicate my dad's evil plan for me. Don't be stupid Cleveland.

If you're seriously even THINKING about becoming a Steelers fan because the Browns aren't winning, don't let the door hit ya on the way out!

F**k em, dude. I'm totally done with that organization if they pull a big-time faux pax again. Done enough that I would join my dad on the dark side (where a former Falcon and a former MAC QB are hanging out, no less).
Believe me, though, I would only be a tacit fan as I already abhore the NFL for its commercialization. I usually spend my sundays reviewing the college results from Saturday.
No local TV Browns broadcast

On the 6 o'clock news, I think I heard Dan Cummins say they are showing the Steelers game instead of the Browns this week, since the Browns game is meaningless and the Steelers have clinched home field (ie; more interesting to watch). If J5 plays, we won't see it here in BG!

You are all welcome at my home in the Cleveland viewing area. I'll tell my mom that Falcon blood runs thicker than family blood. She may not understand, but GOOOOOO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Steelers fan and love it everytime I get a chance to see the Steelers play on TV in the Cleveland area, but the Steelers/Bills game is going to suck. Bettis isn't going to play, Roethlisberger is going to be out, and a bevy of other starters are going to be sitting out or see limited action. The Bills need the win to keep their playoff hopes alive, so I would not be suprised if the Bills roll to a big win.

The Browns forever lost me when they screwed Bernie Kosar over. I dont care if this is not technically the same team. Never again will I ever root for the Browns.

I doubt that. The NFL dictates which games are on TV in which local markets. Toledo is the Detroit/Cleveland market, and they must show those games. If both are on at the same time on the same network then Detroit gets precedence over Cleveland. Pretty sure that CBS 11 has no say in the matter, and I've never heard of the networks switching up their local setups for one week. Of course most of us won't see it anyways cuz we'll be at ANderson
As for J5 playing, if he is the 3rd QB, he won't play. In the NFL the 3rd QB isn't technically on the "active" roster. If he gets in the game they cannot put their other QBs back in, something like that.

I think the Browns ran into something like that a few years ago with Spergon Wynn or Hybl. I remember it now that you've mentioned it, but I forget how it works, too.

I'm with ya. I'm a lifelong Browns fan, and in my memory I can't remember such a pathetic organization than the current Browns - maybe the 1-15 "Aint's" of the early 80s.
We ran Bellicheck out of town because he dissed Bernie, and he has two Super Bowls. We ran Model out and he has a ring.
They need to completely dismantle this team and start over from scratch. What a waste of 5 years.
Have mercy on us, Ozzie. Come to Cleveland and save this pathetic club.
