That "Train" that pulled outta BG last week that left some people behind has derailed bigtime in Madison today. And no, for those who jumped off it, you still can't get back on it because it was smashed to smithereens today and there's nothing left of it. However, you're happy to walk the tracks back to town if you want.

This team will be in contention for a conference title.

Babers is now asking for volunteers to come help pick up the pieces, help put the train back together, and help push it back to BG.

He and his staff were handed the keys to the defending MAC Champs, a team with a high number of returning players that was picked by everyone to win it all. Four games into the season and two "train wrecks" later - I haven't got a damn clue what to expect from BG in the MAC now this season.

I hope you're right but I just don't see it. We have way too many holes and problems to fix and we're outta time to fix them. We have a defense that can't stop anyone, an inconsistent offense, injuries all over the place, and we look like road kill on the road (which is where our top MAC games will be played this year). The only MAC team I feel confident we could beat right now is EMU. But unfortunately, we don't play them this year. Every other team in the MAC can/could beat us and if we play anything like the way we have in two of our four games this year, they will.

And if the train pulls into Detroit looking a little less than pristine at the end season I won't be shocked.

Well Akron got waxed at home by MOOshall, 48-17. Ohio looks sub par, Kent, Buffalo, UMass? The East is weak and we are still the MAC champs. I'm still on this train, high on Cocai....what? Wrong thread? BG will contend for the East.

And by the way that Indiana team from last week just beat #18 Missouri.

Ohio is struggling to put Idaho away in Athens, leading 20-17 in the 4th.

MAC is taking an absolute POUNDING today... BG, EMU,Akron,UMASS, and yes, even NIU got a
Pounding... Buffalo has a win (FCS) and MIAMI was playing Cincy tough last I heard. OU was struggling after losing THEIR starting QB ...TU was leading BSU 6-0 early ( haven't heard more recent score...oh yeah, CMU went down to Kansas, and WMU got a win(FCS). All in all, a Baaaaaad day.

Yeah it was, Den. Cincy holds off Miami, 31-24, the RedHawks 20th straight loss. Ohio survives Idaho, 36-24. Damn bad day for the MAC>
