7. Northern Illinois over Kent State. Might be a blowout.
6. Akron over Eastern Michigan. I'm still quite surprised by Akron's win ... is Akron good, Pitt bad, or both? Regardless Akron is better than EMU.
5. Bowling Green over Buffalo. At some point the defensive backfield will start playing better. This might be the week. Offense will roll and we'll have a good homecoming. And perhaps the longest homecoming game in history.
4. UMass over that team down south. UMass is far better than year's past. That team down south is certainly better than last year too.
3. Ball State over Army. Army's offense will probably score a lot of points but Jahwan Edwards and the running game should win it with time of possession.
2. That team up north over Western Michigan. Might be a closer game than you may think ...
1. Ohio over Central Michigan. I don't think CMU is good ... and Purdue is terrible so the win in West Lafayette matters little.

7- NIU. Kent State is ungawdly terrible, nuff said.
6-Akron. Same for EMU and we should be worried about AKR at this point. Pretty solid FB team. Bowden's done a very good job.
5- BG. Buffalo isn't what they were last year and the Doyt will be rockin'.
4- UMass. Battle of winless teams but I do think UMass is an improved team. See Vandy, Colorado, and BG games.
3- Army. Ball State is BAD and that triple option will probably give them fits.
2- TSUN. I think they win but it may be a tricky one on the road. Close.
1- Central. The real toss up of the week. Central @ home.
