Come to the game Sunday...bring $$ to donate to the tsunami victims in Asia. This is being organized by coach Dakich. He's donating the first $100.
I'm going to match his $100 and ask that everyone come out and give what they can. If you can't make it to the game,
visit my PayPal link make the donation to me and I'll make the donation on behalf of you or the website!

This is a good cause. We can't even begin to imagine the devastation that was wrought in the region. For some reason the USA is getting a bad rap for their response to this event, but I have a feeling those people are going to find they were a bit misguided as people try to grasp what happened.
I would make a paypal donation, but I already made a $100 donation to the IRC yesterday.

I've already given too... another $5 is going to break you??
Come on people, so far I've gotten exactly $0. This is disappointing! Here's the press release regarding the Buffalo game.

I'm in. If anyone has any question as to the depths of this disaster, check out our photo galleries:
http://gallery.phillyburbs.com and see if you don't have a spare Lincoln to put toward the cause.

Grant, we're taking ours to the game as a lesson in charity for my son. We're privileged to be able to worry about basketball games....the photos and stories from that part of the country are amazing, and when they begin to hit the islands where no one has been yet, I have a feeling they will only get worse.

Excellent way to turn this into a life lesson, especially during the holiday season!

On a non-Falcon related, yet tsunami-related note, this story was on ESPN.com this morning... talk about taking on a cause!

Remember if you can't get to the game and would like to make a donation via this site (100% of what you give will be passed on to the Red Cross via the men's basketball program) hit that paypal link!
So far, I'll be taking $155 on behalf of the site. Come on people, you can do more!!

Grant, I will be there. I wasn't going to go to the game because I am back home in Cleveland right now, but I think this is one of the coolest things that DD could have ever done. I think it is awesome that you are taking the initiative to make donations on behalf of site members as well. My respect for both you and DD has gone up a couple of notches (not that it was really lacking for either, though

).

Grant,
Our church is taking up a special collection this Sunday and I'll be contributing there for this cause....St. Barnabas Church in Northfield, O. has always had an outstanding record of helping others and I want to be a part of it again..... But thanks for your Caring and Thoughfulness to an unbelievable number of people across the world on behalf of AZZ.

Grant,
I too (can't make it up to BG) will be giving through our church Sunday school class. Thanks for making the effort to collect through AZZ. I'll bet that many of the folks who read/post here will help the tsunami victims.
As an addition to what was already posted earlier, I think that the citizens of the U.S. will contribute tremendously to the relief efforts. To heck with politics, it's the right thing (helping) to do even if the private contributions aren't touted by the media.
