Weather and tickets

Post by falcon83 »

What is the forecast for Saturday? I plan on making the trip if it is not supposed to rain all day. Also, anybody know of any cheap tickets? I hate to pay full value for a team with no defense. thanks

I could be really sarcastic and link you to weather.com but I'll be nice. Mid 50s with showers, it'll be brisk. I happen to think paying full price for a BG game is rather "cheap" compared to some other schools in the area.

](*,) So the $10-12 for seat is too rich for your blood? Maybe they'll you in for half price just to see the off. Then have you leave when the D is on the field. Sorry, but I'm not in sympathy with your ridiculous statement. ](*,)

We are going to the OU/BG game next week. It is OU's homecoming. Their tickets are $35 each. Yah.

If that's your attitude then I can't say you'll be missed that badly. Even in the 2010 season, the brutal 2-10 season where nothing seemed to work, we still had a loyal fanbase who supported the team because we all saw potential in the youngsters out there. If you're not going to support a defending conference championship team with an explosive offense who is 2-0 in shootouts including a win over a B1G team with perhaps the B1G's best offense because you're pissed off that the youngsters aren't playing like last year's seniors, then frankly you won't be missed in the stands.

I hear you might be able to get a free ticket with the purchase of a Coke product.

WOW. It sure is easy to get nasty responses from you guys. Is the play of the team bothering you?? it should. Once the weather turns bad (probably Saturday), the offense will not be nearly as productive. That is when defense will be needed and we all know they can't defend even the most basic offense. No conference championship this year. By the way, we will be lucky to have 10,000 fans stay for even half the game.

My first trip to BG with my son was in a cold drizzle. Great time.

We got positively drenched in our first trip to Mobile. Great time.

There have been games in the scorching sun. Great time.

Love tailgating with the AZZ crew no matter what the weather and if there were any reasonable way for us to make it to BG this weekend, we'd be there if it were a tropical storm and BG was winless.

You got nasty responses because you phrase things in a manner that suggests you're a bit of a richard

Why wouldn't we share cheap tickets when it sounds like you don't even want to be there? hmmmmm...

If you are going to go, dress warmly. Good chance you'll be seeing the words wind chill be mentioned on Saturday. It's gonna be a raw day.
