We are now also officially going to a bowl

By winning the East and going to the MAC Championship we are now also locked in to one of the MAC's bowl spots no matter what happens from here on out. Obvioulsy we want to keep winning but being bowl eligible doesn't always translate to going to a bowl for a few teams but this assures that we are.

Yep, too many bowl-eligible MAC teams have been home during bowl season, so it's good to know we've punched our ticket. That being said, I still have nightmares about that game against Tulsa in Mobile ...

It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since we won a bowl game - 2004 GMAC Bowl over Memphis. The last QB to win a bowl game for us was Omar Jacobs.
I don't really care too much what bowl game it is or where in the country (or the Bahamas) it is. I care who the opponent it and I want to finally see a BG win.

I totally agree. Last season was awesome but losing the bowl put a sour ending to it. We need to finish the year with a bowl win this season. Period.

The ESPN bowl projection duo is split. One has us in Mobile against Arkansas State. The other has us in the Cactus Bowl against Washington.

Fun to think about. I'd be surprised by the second scenario, but that would be a lot of fun.
