If they don't get back to the title game, there should be a total house cleaning. That is a very talented roster on paper. Even with the defensive losses. And if they lose to UT again, then I'll start to wonder if the so-called comments by Toledo's coach regarding Babers aren't true.

Travis Greene tweeted that he is having surgery, didn't say what for but I imagine it's either his hand or ankle.

I don't recall exactly what was supposedly said, but it was to the effect that the UT coach knew everything he needed to know about Babers and could beat him every time. I kind of took it all as trolling by the person who posted it; but if BG keeps losing to UT, I may start to give it some credence.

Total trolling by a poster who has since been banned. Pay no attention. I didn't even notice he was banned. He was on my ignore list with birdman and all of his pseudonyms and tekekini and 83.

Besides if true, the troll admitted that his idol, Matt Campbell, is in NCAA violation for gambling on the outcome of games. No way a head coach is that stupid, or else the troll and the coach are on the same intellectual level.

Hope it's nothing major and that he'll be good to go next season. I love that kid.

I was pleasantly surprised with Aaron Banks, Saturday. He took more reps than Locke or Valdez. Looks like bowl practices helped him immensely.

2 guys I am hoping have big offseasons are Lunsford and Brown. Lunsford has the size to be a terror at defensive tackle in the MAC and Brown is going to have to play a ton of snaps at defensive end.

Also interested to see how the QB log jam shakes out, 6 QBs and 5 on scholarship. If I had to guess, Morgan will be redshirted, Knapke or Callaway will redshirt and Nichols will battle for the backup job with the one who stays.

Looking towards next year....our first home opponent, Memphis is playing BYU. Impressive looking offense who will return a lot of players.

They really need to get out of one of those non-conference games. Maryland makes the most sense. Memphis and Purdue you have shots at beating. Just signed Tenn and probably need an easy game after that to recover from injuries and get a W. I would mind seeing them play YSU.

Maryland is coming to the Doyt as part of this two-games-for-one deal. We should definitely play that out.

It's a tough schedule, but I say lets play it.

Me too. Tough? Yes but what if, a huge if, we win all 4? Think about what it could do. Of course we could lose all 4 as well. IMO, Memphis will be the toughest.

But THISMaryland game is on road not home....I mentioned in another thread that the MD. Game had been rescheduled once before... With the Big whatever changing its scheduling , knocking off 1 more OOC game in favor of an extra conf. Game, the reschedule might be even harder.

Suffer through this year. No way should they cancel the Maryland series. With the way college football is changing that is likely the last power 5 team that will ever visit the Doyt.

Don't ever cancel a home game with a BC, er, Power 5, er...what the hell are they calling themselves now? lol. I remember when Ohio U had a home game with Va Tech scheduled a few years ago and cancelled it. Still can't figure that one out.
