While most students have been home enjoying the holidays the Falcon cheerleaders have been working hard in BG with 2-a-day practices. In a couple of weeks they are heading to Orlando to defend their National Champion title. Attached is a video that shows the hard work they have been putting in over the break. They look FANTASTIC! Please watch the video twice. Once to enjoy all the athleticism of their moves and a second time to really notice what all in involved in doing these stunts. For 2-a-days they are working out 8 hours a day. They lift humans for 8 hours a day. For you football folks imagine weight lifting for 8 hours. Then imagine doing that with people throwing the weights at you. If you look closely at the bottom of some of the stunts there are girls who are holding up two other girls of equal body weight on her shoulders. And they do it over and over and over day after day. They are extremely talented individuals who work tirelessly to be the best in the nation while representing BGSU. We should be very proud of our Falcon cheerleaders.

Sat 8:15pm - All Girl Division IA Finalists Announced

The BGSU Division I Small Coed ended up placing 3rd at the UCA College Cheerleading Nationals. Way to go BG!!
The BGSU Dance Team and the BGSU Division IA All-Girl Cheerleaders failed to place for finals but did an awesome job!!
