Band marching into the Doyt

Today the band marched into the Doyt to meet the team. Since Urban arrived, it's been a tradition that we march over every year. We play the fight song and Ay-Zig and they do their after game mosh pit. Usually they run some plays for us but today was their picture day so they weren't practicing while we were there. They were in the new orange uniforms and they look awesome when you see the whole team wearing them! The band was excited to be there and you could tell the team was excited as well. Tossing a football the other day I dislocated my knee so I was watching from the side on crutches. But seeing the football team and band in the stadium already got me pumped up! The Doyt is in great shape with green grass, most of the scoreboard, and black (why can't they be brown) railings! Hearing the band go through the drum cadences and yell "Beat the Sooners" was a fantastic sound! Only 2 weeks away!!! Go Falcons!!!

Michelle and I were at photo day today and it was great when the band marched in! They sounded great and we also enjoyed it when they cheered BEAT THE SOONERS! The football team's new jerseys looked great and we're looking forward to seeing the new band uniforms too!

Stupid detail question about the uniforms. . . do they have their names on the back of them?

Also, did they wear orange on orange for the picture?

I didn't see any names on the backs and yeah, they were wearing orange on orange.
