Ok, forgive me if this is a dumb question but when do we officially make the switch to Nike? And when would the new uniform's be revealed? After seeing Cleveland's poor excuse for a "new logo" it made me think of our switch to Nike and i am looking forward to seeing what kind of uniforms we will have in the future. I keep searching trying to see if there is any news but I always end up empty handed. Any answers would be appreciated.

Switch will start in new academic year for all intents and purposes starts Aug 1 but typically these deals run on fiscal years so it could be as early as July 1.

Mr Kingston has confirmed and release at least preliminary design of a brown uniform

Since the Browns "new" unis are to be introduced in April, I wouldn't be surprised to see ours come out around the same time. Browns fans HATED orange jersies they trotted out a couple of yrs ago...and haven't been seen since. But the all brown look did nothing for me due to NO trim on the pants.

I still feel our 1980's unis were the sharpest w/ orange pants and brown jersies, which perhaps not co- incidentally were same basic scheme of the Browns at that time.

The "Spirit Skaters" at the hockey games have been wearing BG shirts with a rather prominent "Nike Swoosh." I'd say the transition is already in progress.

Transition is in progress but does not have to be "completed" until 2016. You will see bit and pieces for the rest of this year, more complete for next school year and all Adidas stuff gone in 2016, from what I was told.

I look for the hockey team to be all Nike next season. I don't know the jersey rotation for the other sports. Hockey has been getting new every two seasons it seems. And they didn't get any new ones this season.

The football team wore nike sweats at the bowl game, basketball team has players wearing nike shoes and using nike basketballs. Everyone will be in nike next year.

I will be interested to see if football is wearing nike practice gear in the spring.

Kingston has not released any sort of preliminary designs. Everything floating around is just fan art.

There are likely different end contract dates for the different sports with Adidas, football is probably the end of the 2014-15 academic calendar year and would surmise we'll get to see the jerseys some time during the summer.

The contract with adidas appears to have expired in May of 2014 and the Nike one likely doesn't come fully into effect until fall 2015 so teams are playing out the adidas relationship in adidas uniformes while beginning the Nike relationship with shoes/equipment prior to when custom uniforms can be created.
