Anyone see the Orange Bowl halftime show last night???

I watched Ashlee Simpson get booed off the stage. Then later in the night I turned to some country channel and they was talking with the other halftime performer and they said they were stunned on how the crowd reacted to Ashlee's performance. I am not. It stunk so bad. Then they told the reporter that Ashlee told them that this was going to be her last concert and that she would not ever sing again. I think she is just trying to follow to closely in her sisters footsteps. I really dont think she is all that good, and she should stop persuing her singing career. Just a few months ago she got caught lip singing on SNL.

We could only be so lucky.

Ashlee Simpson is the least talented singer EVER. She's only known for her sister. She only has a career because their father made MTV give her a show in order to re-up Newlyweds. Thank god she was exposed on SNL, now everyone can see how terrible she really is.

That performance last night was simply awful. The worst I've ever heard. She should be lucky the crowd only booed. In Europe it might've incited a riot that would've ripped out her larynx.

Yes. I cant believe how bad she was. National Championship game is like the Super Bowl. Why would they schedule someone like Ashlee. Only teenage boys and girls like her. They should have planned a better halftime performance. What evr happened to the college bands playing it out on the field. They should have their own NC

I don't know if they were booing Ashlee in particular as much as they were booing the whole show. It was doomed from the beginning as soon as Kelly Clarkson took the stage, started to sing, but her mic wasn't working -- at all. I feel bad for Kelly that she was stuck on national TV with that kind of situation -- she was visibly shaking. The lead vocals for all three performers were screwed up big-time though, and each of them was distracted by that. The production team couldn't get it straightened out at all.

And on top of it all, "superstar" Ashley was really bad. Tough beans, kitty-cat.
