Not sure what it is called but Moore was on some list for being most versatile or something like that.

Moore is on the Paul Hornung list.

I love seeing all the players on these lists even though mid major players rarely, if ever, win them. Freddie Barnes got robbed a few years back for the Biletnikoff Award.

I don't know if Freddie got robbed because I believe he lost to Golden Tate who seems to have had a pretty good career thus far.

It's completely irrelevant how Tate is doing in his career.

Barnes
155 Receptions (NCAA Record)
1770 Yards
19 TDs

Tate
93 Receptions
1496 Yards
15 TDs

I know the level of competition isn't the same, but I dont care who you are or who you play for or against. 60 more receptions. 250 more yards. 4 more TDs... Hmmmm...

Freddie Barnes set an NCAA record with 155 receptions in 2009. He wasn't the winner because Tate was from ND. Period. I don't care what Tate has done in the NFL. This was a collegiate award and FB clearly should have won as he earned it in 2009.

But I think you do have to take the level of competition into the decision. If not let's just have the computer calculate the stats and give out all awards in all sports to the stat leader. No matter where they are from or play. So last year's Heisman winner would have not been Marcus Mariota but none other than the QB who torched BG in its opener. Yes, your 2014 Heisman stat winner is Brandon Doughty from Western KY who nearly threw for 5000 yards outdistancing Mariota by almost 400 yards and additionally threw for 7 more TD passes.
