For the last few years we've been able to enjoy watching Travis Greene play, even when hurt.
Today I think we need to mention the outstanding effort by Trenton Greene. An undersized LB who hit just about everything that moved in a Md. Uniform. Don' t know all the official stats yet, but man... He's a tough guy . No wonder Babers awarded him a scholaship right before the season began. Great job Trenton!

Reminded me of another BG linebacker by the name of Green, Joe Green from the late 60s.

Trenton was fantastic, he seemed to be the team leader on D, not Valdez or Colvin. How about Mack's effort after Hunter went down. He destroyed that Maryland screen all by himself, the blocking receiver had to tackle him (no call) or he would of made the pick.

One of the most encouraging things about yesterday's game was the play of Trenton Greene. In recent years it's been unusual for us to see outstanding individual defensive player efforts. When we've had great defenses it's always relied on gang tackling, swarming to the ball, scheme domination. Yesterday Greene (and various members of the secondary as well) made some tremendous individual plays. Greene, in particular, shedding blockers and blowing up plays where he was completely accounted for by the offense.
So nice to see a guy individually outman his guy...especially when he's doing it against Big10 competition.
